The Bulldogs had a great showing at the Noth Sanpete Classic today. The Varsity boys started off the day with a 2nd place team finish behind Stansbury. Than Jarvis led the way with a second place finish. Michael Wilcox continues to impress, closing the gap as the 4th runner. The varsity girls raced next, finishing 3rd in the team standings. Kate Hunter led the way with a dominating win over the field. Charice Beaumont had a very impressive run fiishing 3rd for the Provo girls with a very impressive time.
Provo High competed at the Nebo Invite at Maple Mountain High today. It was a really hot and sunny day. Kate Hunter got back to her winning ways by winning the Girls' Varsity Race. It was a very exciting tactical race which Kate dominated over the last 200 M. Than Jarvis was the Bulldogs' top boys runner today finishing 27th. Meghan Hunter also had a terrific race running 20:00. On the boys' side, Michael Wilcox had a standout performance with his 17:41.
Provo High competed at the Wahasatch Rendezvous over the weekend. There were a lot of great performances over this really tough and hilly course. Meghan Hunter was the top Bulldog performer on the girls' side and Than Jarvis led the boys.
The Bulldogs competed at the Westlake Classic yesterday. Kate Hunter took 2nd place in the girls' division and Than Jarvis took 7th place in the boys' division.
The Huntresses were at it again over the weekend. Meghan took 8th in the Freshman/Sophomore division and Kate took 2nd place in the Varsity division. Kate ran a very aggressive race which she led up till 1/2 a mile to go.
