The Bulldogs did a fabulous job at state this year. The boys took 11th at state and the girls took 7th. Chase Heiner was the 4A state champion in the 400m and the 200m, setting a new school record in the 400m. Kate Hunter won the 3200m and the 800m and she also took second in the 1600m. Laia Ili took 2nd in the shot and 7th in the disc to round out the scoring for the Bulldogs.
There were a lot of terrific performances at this year's region championships which were held at BYU. Individually Chase Heiner won the 400, Kate Hunter won the 3200, Lia Ili won the Shot and the Disc, Brittany Eatough took 3rd in the 100 qualifyig for state, Cameron Robison took 3rd and Than Jarvis took 5th in the 3200, Pablo Galante took 3rd and Morgan Hunter placed 7th in the 800, Cameron Robison took 4th and Pablo Galante took 5th in the 1600, Brittany Eatough took 8th in the 200 and Chloe Magelby took 8th in the Long Jump, Taaumanaia Lesa took 5th and Moroni Coca took 8th the the Jav. But no performances were more than Kate Hunter's come from behind victory in the 2:12.5 in the Medley Relay and Chase Heiner's 46.88 to anchor the Bulldogs to state.
The Bulldogs had some magnificent performances at the BYU Invite. Chase Heiner won the 200m and took second in the 400m, Kate Hunter placed 2nd in the 1600m and 4th in the 800m. Pablo Galante was able to qualify for state in the 3200 and there were many more PRs ran.
Provo hosted this meet for those who did not qualify for BYU and we saw some terrific performances. Nathan Winward ran a terrific 2:08 placing 5th. Noah Lamont placed 7th, Max Houghton took 4th in the 200 and 5th in the 300 M Hurdles, Isaac Chock took 6th in the 300 M Hurdles to score points for the Bulldogs.
