St Katherine is located in San Marcos CA and offers these degrees currently: Art, English, Literature, History, Interdisciplinary Studies, Music, Orthodox Christian Theology, Business, Management, Economics, Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Kinesiology. Tuition is 18,550 a year. (the same cost as state school, in-state tuition, and 1/4 the cost of other private schools here in San Diego.) I am looking for runners who want excellence in education and athletics, with a small school feel. I don't have minimum times to be on the team, however I do have very high expectations of athletes regardless of their performance level. I do offer scholarship money. It is competitive-so better marks earn more scholarship money. School is wholesome and geared towards individual attention of student-athlete: no lines, no parking permit! Every senior will have an internship in their chosen field. Any one is welcome in school (they don't have to be any religion). Our motto is "inquiry seeking wisdom." Students will be expected and directed to synthesize information and knowledge and make application in their field of study as well as their individual life. Students have to have a minimum transfer GPA of 2.25 (higher than eligibility for NAIA) or if a high school graduate, GPA 2.0 and 860 SAT or 18 ACT or top half of graduating class (2 of 3). We offer middle distance and distance for both men and women. I have coached cc/track collegiately for 10 years and last year, we were the 2nd most decorated team in the nation for the NJCAA men's and women's programs at Gillette College where I coached. We were the Men's Cross Country academic All American team of the year. I coached All Americans in every event from the 800 m and up. We are still accepting applications for fall 2014 and spring 2015. I have a couple of scholarship opportunities remaining for this season! Athletes will be considered until positions are filled!. I look forward to serving and leading student athletes to reach their academic and athletic dreams and goals. Please feel free to share my contact info.
